Welcome Shani!!
It's been two weeks since our "family" has a new element: an african hedgehog. Her name is Shani, that means wonder in swahili.

Cute, yes! I'll warn you though, when my parents kept a pair of (British) hedgehogs, they had fleas in the house for months afterwards!
@diggoryhardy: thanks for the warning, but I suppose those hedgehogs were wild ones, right? this was a gift coming from a shop, and she already had her first visit to the vet, and no traces of fleas :)
